Renner Italia™ Water-Base White 1K Primer – High Solids | 1150-02

The Renner Italia™ Water-Base Primer is a premium, water-base primer product that’s affordable and great for both residential and commercial projects. This water-base primer is extremely durable, long-lasting and mildew resistant with proper application and maintenance. This high coverage water based primer is used in a wide variety of wood finishing processes. It is specially formulated for application on hardwood and MDF and works excellently as a primer for windows and frames, cabinets and furniture. YL.1150.02US may be top-coated with a variety of Renner products such as waterbased, urethanes, acid cured and others.

NOTE: This is a single component product. For added durability add 1% Renner YC.1402 Crosslinker

Application Method:

Recommended Number of Coats: 2

Finishing Process:

1. Sand the substrate with 120, 150 or 180 grit paper.
2. Apply YL.1150.02US.
3. When dry, sand the primer with 320/400 grit paper.
4. Remove dust and apply second coat for best coverage.

Drying times (20C/68F ™ RH 45-65%):

• Dust free: 45 min.
• Tack free: 60 min.
• Stackable: 4 hours
• To sand: 4 hours
• Overcoating after sand: 8 hours maximum
