Renner Italia™ Water-Base White Urethane 1K/2K Primer | 648-CO2

The Renner Italia™ Water-Base 648 Urethane 1K/2K Primer is a premium, water-base urethane primer product that’s great for both residential and commercial projects. This water-base urethane primer is extremely durable, long-lasting when proper application and maintenance.

NOTE: This is a mono or bi-component product. For maximum blocking and Adhesion, this primer must be catalyzed using 5% Renner YC-M404 Hardener DO NOT USE THE YC.1400 HARDENER AS IT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR THIS PRODUCT!!

This product is excellent for raw wood application and for an open grain look finish. It can be tinted to almost any color.

Application Method:

Catalyze 5% using YC-M404 Hardener For Maximum Blocking & Adhesion.

Pot Life: 4 Hrs at 77F/25C

Shelf Life: 18 Month (unopened)

Recommended Number of Coats: 1-3

Finishing Process:

1. Sand the substrate with 120, 150 or 180 grit paper.
2. Apply YLM648.CO2
3. When dry, sand the primer with 320/400 grit paper.
4. Remove dust and apply second coat for best coverage.

Drying times (20C/68F ™ RH 45-65%):

• Dust free: 30 min.
• Tack free: 60 min.
• Stackable: 4 hours
• To sand: 2 hours
• Overcoating after sand: 8 hours maximum
