The Renner 648, 1K- 2K Water-Base Primer is excellent for raw wood application and for an open grain finish. Renner 648 has filling properties that help to smooth minor surface imperfections, such as pores, knots, and grain irregularities. This creates a smooth and even base, ensuring optimal adhesion and enhancing the appearance and durability of the final finish.

Catalyst: For maximum blocking and adhesion, this primer must be catalyzed using Renner YC-M404 at 5%. Do NOT use YC.1400 hardener as it is not designed for this product!

Shelf Life: 18 Month (unopened)
Recommended Number of Coats: 1-3

Drying times (20C/68F ™ RH 45-65%):
Dust free: 30 min.
Tack free: 60 min.
Stackable: 4 hours
Sand: 2 hours
Overcoating after sand: 8 hours maximum
