The Renner 643, 1K- 2K Water Base Urethane Primer is an excellent high-build primer for refinishing or raw wood. Renner 643 has filling properties that help to smooth minor surface imperfections, such as pores, knots, and grain irregularities. This creates a smooth and even base, ensuring optimal adhesion and enhancing the appearance and durability of the final finish.
NOTE: TINTED PRIMERS ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE AN EXACT COLOR MATCH.

Drying times (20C/68F ™ RH 45-65%):
Dust free: 30 min.
Tack free: 60 min.
Stackable: 4 hours
Sand: 2 hours
Overcoating after sand: 8 hours maximum

Great primer, used 2.5mm tip and simple hand gun. No thinning, easy straining. Paint coats sand very well. I needed three thin coats to cover bleed through, but I used it on nasty golden maple cabinets (so pretty much worst case). About to get more primer right now. Highly recommend!

This is a premium primer, it’s much better catalyzed then as a single component. I find that when catalyzed a small amount of water 3-5% should be added after hardener has been mixed in for best spray quality. It’s a beautiful primer.
