SURFPREP 5" BACKUP PAD HOOK & LOOP. VAC HOLES

SurfPrep backup pads come in a variety of options depending on the products you are using as well as the surface you're sanding.

-Hook & Loop Backup Pads are made with smaller 'hooks' which are excellent for the ‘quick release’ of SurfPrep Foam abrasives.

-J-Hook Backup Pads have a longer hook design that works well with SurfPrep Pad Savers, Interface Pads, Film, Paper, & Non-Woven Discs/Pads.

To be used with SurfPrep 5" Sanders

We recommend using a J-Hook Backup Pad when sanding with any Interface Pads. This is because the interface pad will not stay in place while sanding using a standard Hook and Loop backup pad, whereas using a J-Hook backup pad will allow the interface pad to stay in place.
